Adhesive Tape Mounting Method

Our Stainless Steel 3D Metal Signs are designed with recessed mounting zones on the back. Each letter comes pre-applied with adhesive tape, along with specially designed void areas to allow optional silicone or structural adhesive for added security and long-term durability.

✅ Installation Steps:

1. Mark the Installation Area
Use a positioning template or level to mark the exact placement for each letter. This ensures clean alignment and consistent spacing.

2. Clean the Surface
Thoroughly wipe the wall surface with alcohol or a clean cloth to remove dust, oil, or moisture. A clean surface is critical for maximum adhesion.

3. Remove Tape Liners
Carefully peel off the protective liners from the pre-installed 3M tape located in the recessed zones on the back of the letters.

4. Apply Silicone (Optional)
For enhanced strength, apply a small amount of silicone or structural adhesive to the void areas as indicated in the diagram. This will not interfere with the tape adhesion.

5. Press and Hold
Align the letter to your marked position and press firmly for 20–30 seconds to activate the initial bond of the adhesive tape.

6. Allow to Cure
If silicone is used, allow at least 24 hours of curing time before applying any stress or load to the sign.
